30 Second Swing Dance Showcase is BACK! #30ssds is the best opportunity to challenge yourself with a short but powerful Swing Dance performance to boost your creativity and entertain the audience. You can perform SOLO, as a COUPLE or a TEAM. Explore what kind of magic happens within the limits.

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

– Choose a jazzy song of around 30 seconds

– Showcase a swing dance: Solo Jazz, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, Tap or all that jazz

– Aerials, lifts, dips & tricks, acrobatics or any flash moves are very welcomed by the judges and the audience

– Judges will pick the best ARTIST (creativity, expression and aesthetics) and best MASTER (dancing technique and musicality), while audience will choose the BEST SHOW

– Participant fee is €20 per person and it has to be paid within two weeks after registration and it is not refunded in case of changed plans

– If you register before May 1st, you will have a free consultation with What a Jazz teachers regarding your performance

DIVISIONS:

SOLO – A showcase of 1 person 

COUPLE – A showcase of 2 people couple dancing

TEAM – A showcase of 2-6+ people

Every participant will have a professional video of their show which will be published on What a Jazz social channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook). Winners will receive trophies and special prizes.
